تحدث الدولي الإنجليزي هاري كين، مهاجم الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي بايرن ميونخ عن أنباء انتقاله إلى برشلونة خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية المقبلة.

ويرغب برشلونة في التعاقد مع خليفة البولندي روبرت ليفاندوفسكي الذي ينتهي عقده الصيف المقبل.

ووفقًا لتقارير صحفية إسبانية سابقة فإن هاري كين هو له الأولوية القصوى داخل برشلونة من أجل التعاقد معه الفترة المقبلة ليكون على رأس المشروع الرياضي الجديد للفريق خلال الموسم المقبل.

كين استطاع أن يسجل هذا الموسم 26 هدفًا ويقدم 4 تمريرات حاسمة في 22 مباراة وإجمالًا مع بايرن ميونخ سجل 108 أهداف في 113 مباراة وهي أرقام مميزة للغاية.

ومن خلال تصريحاته التي نقلتها صحيفة “بيلد” الألمانية، فقد أكد كين أنه لم يتواصل مع أي جهة من إدارة بايرن ميونخ بشأن تمديد عقده الحالي حتى الآن.

وقال هاري كين بشأن تجديد عقده: “لم أتواصل مع أي جهة ولم يتصل بي أحد، أشعر براحة تامة في الوضع الحالي رغم أننا لم نناقش وضعي مع بايرن بعد”.

وأضاف: “مفاوضات برشلونة؟ أنا سعيد للغاية في ميونخ، يمكنك رؤية ذلك في طريقة لعبي، إذا كان هناك تواصل، فسنرى لكنني لا أفكر في الموسم الجديد بعد، أولها كأس العالم في الصيف ومن المستبعد جدًا أن يتغير أي شيء بعد هذا الموسم”.

وأتم حول سؤال ما إذا كان ينبغي لجماهير بايرن أن تقلق بشأن استمراره مع الفريق: “لا أعتقد ذلك، عليهم أن يطمئنوا”.

The youngest of the trio – Manny Lumsden took 3 for 64 to derail the top order despite Kiran Carlson’s magnificent 135.Carlson’s first ever one-day century was unable to be supported due to a steady flow of wickets left Glamorgan bowled out inside 40 overs, 72 short of Hampshire’s 324 for 6.Other debutant Ben Mayes played fearlessly for 74 from 55 balls in the 17-year-old’s 141-run partnership with Gubbins to end the visitors’ innings explosively.After inserting Hampshire to bat, Glamorgan got off to an economical start. James Harris and unexpected new ball partner Zain Ul Hassan containing Gubbins and Ali Orr.On the surface containing Hampshire to a 42-run powerplay on a small outground could have been viewed to be Glamorgan’s advantage, the drop of Gubbins by Carlson at second slip while the opener was on just four later proved to be a difference of what came later.A solid 68-run opening contribution was brought to a much-needed end as Ali Orr started to cruise, Ned Leonard making for a comeback from being hooked for six out of the ground on his first ball.Dangerous overseas Tilak Varma could’ve been a match winner for Hampshire given his two centuries in four games already for the club, removed for a duck.A flow of four wickets for 47 at a slowing rate dragged Glamorgan back when debutant Mayes entered at 115 for 4, Gubbins still anchoring.It didn’t take long for Mayes to motor, inflicting his freedom onto Gubbins, casually reverse-sweeping Glamorgan’s 18-year-old debutant Romano Franco four times on his way to a century.Mayes’ hockey-style sweeping, both orthodox and reverse, had the runs flowing before Felix Organ took over the role with a flashy 32 from 14 unbeaten to end the innings. Hampshire adding 129 in the final 10 overs, no bowler getting off lightly, Gubbins carrying his bat.Unlike in Hampshire’s innings, the hosts came out firing. Also unlike the hosts, a dropped slip catch was shortly after redeemed with the wicket, Tribe dropped on seven, out on 14.While Hampshire’s innings was backboned by one mammoth partnership, Glamorgan kept losing wickets when times were tough. The three-over spell of 2 for 47 was about so much more than the figures.Hampshire’s 18 overs of consecutive spin in the middle overs contained Glamorgan enough while regular wickets left Glamorgan requiring Andy Gorvin’s 42-ball 11 to stick in a partnership with his captain to give a fighting chance.Lumsden’s return brought more fireworks including the big wicket after Carlson effectively run out of partners, but not before giving the Neath crowd a special display.

Mark Wood says he could yet make an appearance in England’s Test series against India as he steps up his rehabilitation after knee surgery.Wood, the 35-year-old, limped out of the Champions Trophy earlier this year with medial ligament damage in his left knee, and underwent an operation in March. The initial prognosis was for a four-month recovery period, which effectively ruled him out of featuring in the five Tests against Shubman Gill’s India, which began at Headingley on Friday.However, Wood has now revealed he could be in with a shout for the final Test, at the Kia Oval, which begins on July 31. Newcastle United headed to AFC Bournemouth on Sunday in Premier League action still bruised from their narrow 2-1 defeat in the Champions League at the hands of Barcelona.

With such a quick turnaround since Thursday’s defeat, too, Eddie Howe had to make five alterations to his starting XI for the trip to the Cherries, with none of these fresh alterations coming in to guide the Toon to a much-needed win, unfortunately.

Instead, the much-changed Magpies would unconvincingly stumble to a 0-0 draw on the road, with Joe Willock, in particular, not banging the door down for more first-team minutes going forward, based on his poor display.

In truth, it was a flat performance all over the pitch from Howe’s visitors, with only a weak four shots registered all match by the Toon, during the drab stalemate.

Worryingly, Willock showed no sign of being energetic throughout, despite the ex-Arsenal man being handed his first Premier League start of the season, as Howe made all those changes.

The vibrant livewire that once netted eight goals from just 13 league starts during the 2020/21 season is now long gone, with Willock actually managing to register fewer touches of the ball than Nick Pope in between the sticks, as a forgettable 32 touches of the ball were tallied up across his hour or so on the pitch, next to Pope’s 42, per Sofascore.

With just 12 accurate passes notched up from the middle of the park, too, it’s no great shock that the heavily rotated Newcastle that took to the pitch looked so limp in attack when there was a complete lack of creative flair coming from the declining 26-year-old.

Of course, the attackers fielded by Howe also need to take their portion of the blame after firing blanks throughout on the South Coast, as another underperforming member of the concerned manager’s starting XI worries about his first-team minutes moving forward.

The Newcastle flop who should be dropped

It was a tough day at the office for the Newcastle forward players, but Jacob Murphy did manage to show some flashes of his quality here and there.

In all fairness, the long-standing Magpies servant looked somewhat bright for his hour run-out against Andoni Iraola’s stern hosts, with Murphy at least coming away from the bore draw with a shot on target registered, on top of also completing a dribble when trying to catch out the Cherries defence.

It would, however, be one of Murphy’s attacking partners for the day in Nick Woltemade, who would notably struggle throughout, despite plenty of praise coming the ex-Stuttgart centre-forward’s way before the match got underway.

After all, it’s not as if the 6 foot 6 monster has the pressure of attempting to break his Magpies duck weighing down on him, with a debut goal coming his way in the Premier League versus Wolverhampton Wanderers when he graced the St James’ Park turf.

Yet, away from grappling well in one instance when having his shirt pulled by a Bournemouth man for a potential penalty, it was very much a forgettable second outing for Woltemade in the top-flight, as is illustrated in the table above.

It will all centre on the mountain man trying to find some consistency moving forward, with his shooting boots presumably forgetting to be packed for the long journey down to the South Coast, as Woltemade failed to register a single meaningful shot at the home side’s goal.

Even more concerningly, the below-par number 27 also struggled to put his towering frame to good use, with only four of his 14 duels being successfully won, per Sofascore.

Willock, at least, came away from his shoddy showing with six duels won under his belt, with Woltemade also losing possession 19 times, while his midfield teammate gave up the ball just nine times. Despite all these worrying numbers, the German would be handed a 6/10 post-match rating by Newcastle World’s Jordan Cronin, although Cronin did state that his performance “dipped” in the second 45 minutes.

After ringing the changes to try and freshen his side up did not work, it could well be that Howe reverts to what he knows more for Newcastle’s upcoming contest in the league against Arsenal, with Willock at risk of being dropped against his former side, alongside Woltemade potentially sitting the clash out back on home soil.

Manchester United are reportedly investigating footage that showed one of their fans being attacked by another during their 2-1 win over Chelsea. Frank Ilett has gone viral for refusing to cut his hair until Ruben Amorim's side win five games in a row – something that led to him being verbally abused at Old Trafford. Now, the club are looking into the matter.
